Online Enrollment Features

Employee Benefit Specialists has been enrolling employees in core and voluntary benefits since the late 1980s. With years of experience in on-site, call center, IVR, and group meeting environments, EBS added on-line enrollment and eligibility tracking services in late 2002.

Today, we provide one of the most robust web-based fully configurable enrollment systems available. Our systems allow employers to manage and control the selection and communication of benefits, 24-hours a day, 7 days a week.

  • Outsourcing the enrollment process, especially in a secure electronic environment, reduces hours spent and inevitable errors in a manual data entry enrollment.
  • Communication is controlled, allowing employers to require an employee to acknowledge receipt of pertinent plan documents or information.
  • The system allows for set-up and implementation in a reasonable time frame with secure access to the entire employee base or select groups.
  • The system will allow for varying rates, and benefits available only in certain areas or to a particular group, to be controlled and viewed only by those employees that should see that information.
  • The system will allow for user-based security access for reporting, viewable data, and interaction with defined information so that an employer can limit access to data stored at the group level. This is especially useful when there are department heads or managers at outside locations that should have access to specific data for their area or managed group.
  • There are 50 standard reports and an ad-hoc reporting capability available to employers so that data in the system can be used to its maximum benefit.
  • Electronic data mapping capabilities provide the download of data to specific formats for communication with HRIS, payroll, vendor and carrier systems as needed.
  • The system can be used throughout the plan year to track benefit eligibility, employee benefit data, and enrollments, and that data can be shared with carriers for the greatest benefit reporting advantages.

The On-Line Enrollment system can be configured to work in conjunction with other EBS Enrollment Solutions including Call Center and On-Site Benefit Counselors to further enhance this enrollment service.
